Faction 4: The Order of Cryomancy

In the far north live peoples who have managed not only to eke out an existence on the tundra, but to imbue their magics with the cold that surrounds them.

Primary Attribute: Intelligence

Description:
Versatile and durable caster from the frozen steppe, master of sustained area effect slowdown and debilitation.

Hero Abilities
Q: Ice CrystalsCreate ice crystals at target location, damaging nearby enemies and slowing them. The crystal can heal a Cryomancer, raise the stats of an Ice Golem or be shattered for additional damage.
W: Frost StormCreate a frost storm over your head which matures over 10 seconds, and then attacks your target, causing 100xAbilLvl+1xIntelligence spell damage to enemies in 500+30xAbilLvl area.
If you activate Frost Blades, this spell gets replaced with Cold Burn.
W alternate form: Cold BurnActivate Cold Burn to engulf this unit in blue flames, causing [18-108] damage per second to enemy land units in melee range. |nDrains [6-54] mana per second until deactivated.|nIf you deactivate Frost Blades, this spell gets replaced with Frost Storm.
E: Frost SpearConjure a spear of frost which deals 90[-810] + Intelligence damage in a line. Units at the immediate point of impact are frozen for a short time. Freeze improves with levels.
R: Summon Ice GolemSummons an ice golem with a frost attack to punch your enemies in melee. When it dies it shatters, damaging nearby enemies. If it dies near a group of ice blocks, it will absorb them and reform.|nYour hero attributes improve the stats of the golem.
D: Winter (Limit break)Summons a spirit of of the Fimbul Winter, dealing area effect damage and slowing enemy units around it by 40[-60]%. Can cast a powerful single target slowdown. Slows attacked units and continually spawns Frost Elementals at its feet. Damage, hit points and armor are improved by your hero attributes.

Hunt Leader

Description:
Long ranged direct attacker with speed upgrades and slowdowns for enemies.

Hero Abilities
Q: Feats of ResilienceFor [21-30] seconds, suffer -15% and -10 movement speed per stack, but gain 2% damage reduction per stack plus 1% per ability level. When a stack expires, heal for 6 x stacks x AbilLvl.
At 6 stacks, gain spell shield.
Passive on learn: Gain +45 max life.
W: Winter CallSummon your hunting companion to join you in the field. Casting at low life / energy gives minor bonuses to your companion.
E: Frost SpearConjure a spear of frost which deals 90[-810] + Intelligence damage in a line. Units at the immediate point of impact are frozen for a short time. Freeze improves with levels.
R: Ice Crystal JavelinCast to imbue your ice crystal arrow tip with more cold magic. Each stack adds damage and an improving cold effect to the arrow when it is fired.
At 6 stacks, add an area effect attack.
Stack duration improves with levels.
Passive on learn: Gain +2 attack dice sides per level.
D: Grand Hunt (Limit break)Summon two Elite Tundra Hunters to deal damage at range.
Also gain various bonuses for 45 seconds:
Q: Doubles the healing effect.
W: Adds hit points, regeneration and dice sides to summon.
E: Adds damage by a factor of your agility.
R: Adds a chance to lower the treshold for area effect blast, and a chance to gain extra stack when hitting an already cold enemy.

All heroes have additional skills which will appear during play.

Description: Basic melee unit of the Order of Cryomancy.

Range: Melee
Movement type: Foot
Special: None.

Tier 2:

White Owl
Description: Flying melee
Armor type: Hides
Damage type: Piercing
Range: Melee
Movement type: Flying
Special: Evasion.
These large owls belong to an intelligent race, allied with the men of the north for mutual hunting benefit.

Tier 3:

Tundra Ranger
Description: Ranger with slowdown
Armor type: Medium
Damage type: Piercing
Range: Long range
Movement type: Foot
Special: Occasional slowdown attack.

Tier 4:

White Wizard
Description: Area effect dps
Armor type: Light
Damage type: Magic
Range: Ranged
Movement type: Foot
Special: Area effect attack, cold slowdown.

Any adept cryomancer can title himself White Wizard, provided he has passed the initiation of going alone into the tundra for two weeks wielding no weapons, and returning with the hide of a white bear.

Tier 5:

Amarok
Description: Fast DPS
Armor type: Heavy
Damage type: Cutting
Range: Melee
Movement type: Cavalry
Special: Alternates between frost attack and frost armor, evades attacks.

The intelligent giant wolves of the tundra have formed an alliance with men, to hunt bigger prey and defend against giants.

Tier 6:

Amarok Rider
Description: Heavy Cavalry
Armor type: Medium
Damage type: Blunt
Range: Melee
Movement type: Cavalry
Special: Cleaving attack, resistant skin, Chance to add a temporary critical strike to all nearby Amarok Riders and Amaroks, Elevated Attack

Tier 7:

Frost Giant
Description: Tank / Summoner
Armor type: Heavy / Hides
Damage type: Cutting / Blunt
Range: Melee
Movement type: Foot
Special: 1. Splash attack, 2. Summons Guard Dog, 3. Brawler’s Acumen: damage reduction and critical chance when low.

Tier 7: Damage resistance, Resistant skin, Spell shield.

The Frost Giants of the northern tundra have allied with the Order of Cryomancy, for mutual survival and the ability to hunt down larger prey.

Ice Giant
Role: Tank / Antimass
Armor type: Medium
Damage type: Blunt
Range: Melee
Movement: Foot
Special:1. Area effect attack, 2. Living ice: Spawns up to six L3 ice golems as living ice is hacked off his body, 3. Frost Nova on death.

Tier 8: Damage resistance, Resistant skin, Spell shield.

Ice Giants are magical creatures, weapons constructed with long secret Frost Giant cryomantics.

Frost Giant Warlord
Role: Superheavy antimass
Armor type: Hides
Damage type: Hero
Range: Melee
Movement: Cavalry
Special: 1. Splash attack, 2. Freezing aura; reduces enemy attack and movement speed by 20% in 475 range, 3. Elevated Attack.
Tier 9: Damage reduction, spell shield, spell damage reduction.
